Installation Instructions

1. Unplug the power cord from the Whirlpool washing machine before beginning to replace the WP8268743 WHEEL.

2. Carefully tilt the machine on an angle and securely prop it in place with a wooden block, or something similar.

3. Remove the lower access panel which is located at the bottom of the machine by unscrewing the two front screws.

4. Locate the drive motor and transmission components.

5. Disconnect the belt from the motor by releasing the tension lever.

6. Remove the four bolts which are fastening the wheel to the motor.

7. Carefully replace the old WP8268743 WHEEL with the new one.

8. Reassemble the motor components in order, and ensure that the belt is properly wrapped around the new wheel.

9. Tighten the four bolts and replace the lower access panel.

10. Plug the power cord back into the washing machine and turn it on. The machine should now be running as normal.
