Installation Instructions
1. Make sure to turn off the power to the refrigerator by unplugging it or turning of the circuit breaker in your home’s electrical panel.
2. Remove all the food and drinks from the refrigerator and freezer.
3. Take out the ice bin and ice bucket on the inside of the refrigerator.
4. To access the ice maker, you will need to remove the kick plate in front of the unit. Do this by unscrewing the screws located at the bottom of the door frame.
5. Disconnect the wiring harness from the old ice maker and remove the screws from the sides and top of the unit.
6. Gently pull out the old ice maker and set it aside.
7. Install the new ice maker and reattach the wiring harness. Secure the ice maker in place with the screws on the sides and top.
8. Replace the kick plate, securing the screws back in place.
9. Plug in the refrigerator and turn on the power at the electric panel.
10. Test the new ice maker and check that it is making ice correctly.
11. After testing, replace the ice bin and ice bucket.
12. Return all food and beverages to the refrigerator.
