Installation Instructions

Replacing the 12001541 Whirlpool Dryer Drum Support Roller Kit with Bearing

Tools Needed:

-Screwdriver
-Pliers
-Safety glasses

Instructions:

1. Unplug the dryer from the wall.

2. On the back of the dryer, remove the screws holding the rear panel in place with a screwdriver. Once all screws are removed, the panel may be pulled away to expose the interior of the dryer.

3. Locate the drum support roller. It is usually located at the top of the dryer drum, near the back wall.

4. Use pliers to remove the old bearing from the roller.

5. Place the new bearing into the roller and secure it with the pliers.

6. Slide the roller into the slot on the back wall of the dryer and replace the screws to secure it in place.

7. Replace the rear panel and tighten all screws.

8. Plug the dryer back into the wall and turn on the power.

9. Test the dryer to make sure the roller is turning properly and that the drum is rotating smoothly.
